Q: My program listing is incorrect. What should I do?

A: Program listings are generated from the database of programs certified by the Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ). The information posted comes directly from the information sent to the ADAA from OHCQ on the program’s certification letter. Check your programs certification letter for accuracy.  If the information on the certificate is incorrect contact the OHCQ:

*If the certificate is correct and the listing is incorrect contact the ADAA via Email at . We will make any corrections that support the information on the program certification letter issued by the OHCQ.

Q: Our program offers special services to Spanish speaking populations, how do I get that listed in the resource directory?

A: Other Services listed in the ADAA Resource Directory include Spanish Speaking Services, Other Language Services, Deaf Services and DWI Education. If your program offers any of these services and you would like them listed send your request via Email to .

Q:   Why isn’t our DWI education program listed in the Resource Directory?

A:  DWI education programs are not mandated to be certified by the OHCQ. The programs in the Resource Directory are those that have been approved by the ADAA. ADAA has recently revised the approval process and some programs may not yet be listed due to their approval or re-approval status. As programs are approved they will be listed in the Resource Directory.

Q: Our program offers services to patients with co-occurring disorders, how can we list that in the Resource Directory?

A: Services for specific populations such as co-occurring disorder specific, adolescents, female specific, male specific, pregnant women, and women with children can be listed.  If your program offers population specific services and you would like them listed send your request via Email to .

Q: The Buprenorphine Physicians Resource Directory does not include our program’s physician, why not?

A: The searchable information in the "Buprenorphine Physician Locator" is collected and maintained by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). SAMHSA provides oversight for this registry to contact SAMHSA call the CSAT Buprenorphine Information Center at 866-BUP-CSAT (), or email us at . ADAA is not responsible for the accuracy of the SAMHSA information.
