Federal Block Grant recipients, such as the Maryland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration, are required to coordinate Peer Reviews for 5% of federally funded programs per year. The Legislation and Regulations Section is responsible for securing Peer Reviewers, providing needed review materials to programs and reviewers, scheduling reviews and providing the final report prepared by the reviewer for programs to allow them to benefit from any recommendations concerning program quality improvement.
